WINSCORE is version 5 of the SCORE Music Publishing System
which provides the finest quality of computer music engraving available. It runs under Microsoft Windows and is the pioneering work of Professor Leland Smith of Stanford University in California.
SCORE has been extensively developed over a period of over 40
years. Since its commercial release in 1989 it has been used by the vast majority of music publishers and notation professionals around the world. It can handle virtually any kind of music notation, from early
neumes to contemporary graphical scores, and is known for its flexibility and easy editing features.
